Who are you and what are your needs?

You could arrive to see me numb with pain, or gently curious about how to feel more comfortable in your dealings with other people. You might be feeling spiritually or creatively stuck, or just wanting to be comfortable sitting at your computer.

You might realise that there are no quick fixes, and are keen to address your whole body rather than individual parts.

Working with a Rolfer® helps people to have more stability, adaptability, reach, balance and grace. Breathing and walking often become easier, more nourishing. There are many reasons to receive Rolfing®, and there are infinite ways to journey through the Rolfing Series.  A variety of people with many histories and backgrounds come and benefit from Rolfing. These include

  • People in pain or discomfort. This might include shoulder pain, lower back pain, plantar fascitiis, hip and knee pain, carpal tunnel, golfer's elbow, tennis elbow, unexplained chronic gut pain or chest pain.

  • Runners, cyclists, climbers, dancers, musicians with repeating injuries, or wanting to improve performance.

  • Women preparing to get pregnant, and women after pregnancy to help their bodies to realign and accommodate the experience of pregnancy.

  • Adolescents growing into their new bodies and selves.

  • People wanting to improve their posture, who wonder why “good posture” is a lot of hard work rather than graceful and easy.

  • People intrigued by their alignment and how the way they move in the world affects their perception of themselves, of people around them, and the environment in which they live.

  • People seeking more ease in their bodies and to be more at peace with themselves.

  • People following or anticipating a big life shift, accident, surgery or illness .

Rolfing is wonderful for all ages and stages - from babes in arms through to people aged 90 and onwards. Rolfing is adaptable to different needs and stages of life.

I love working with children and adolescents, and find that Rolfing can be an invaluable way to support a quickly changing body at puberty, and helping a young person to mature into their more adult self.

I really appreciate the Rolfing approach of treating the whole. Rebecca offers a place of integration and deep healing coupled with a guide to self empowerment and a deeper understanding of oneself.

I've had several injuries over the last few years , one of them severe sciatic pain, which left me feeling very disabled, and depressed. I started seeing Rebecca at the height of my unwellness...and that's been an absolute bounty for me. I've since come out the other end, pain-free and more deeply connected to my body.
