Rolfing as inquiry
Inquiry that opens you to how you perceive the world through and with your body.
The "game" of Rolfing is not finite, played for winning, but infinite. We explore through Rolfing to help with continuing the play. As we explore together, we will create a plan, AND we will also feel our way forward. Both are important. My experience shows that when we trust into feeling our way forward, sensing and intuiting, then we can stumble across treasure.
Rolfing is a form of inquiry, which opens you as the client to be curious about embodying and relating to the world through your body. (Or helps you to continue on this path!) Curiosity and inquiring is also part of my experience as your Rolfer.
How we relate together affects how and what we discover and explore.
I encourage you to consider that exploring via the Ten series begins a process of discovery. When the series ends, the process does not. The process continues beyond the end of the Ten Series. We “complete” a series, yet your inquiring is only beginning.
Along the way through the series, pains can diminish, breath can become easier, walking more effortless, yet fundamentally, Rolfing is helping you to discover, rediscover or renegotiate your being in the world.
In gratitude to Iain McGilchrist and James Carse.
